Basic;;
Birth Name- Jasper Yezlin Sinclair
Nickname- Informally known as Sir "Walking Circus" or "The Botch"
Species- Genetic Experiment - the unfortunate success of a mad alchemist
Birth Place- Ost
Current Location- Walroth Street & 13th PL
Gender- Male
Occupation- Meager attempt at being an Apprentice Tailor
Age- 25
Powers- Stated above, Jasper was a genetic experiment. In short terms his human genetics were successfully intertwined with that of an ivy and rose bush, thus as his body has been able to alter such plants or create new ones at an unnatural capacity. Examples are: using unusually thick ivy vines as whips or ropes, enlarged thorns from his forearms or really any particular place on his body, and, though it distresses him at times, the stench of roses follows him everywhere.
Mother- The Illustrious Countess Aphrodise
Father- Count Lucien Sinclair
Siblings-
Partner- N/A
Love- N/A
Children- N/A
Friends- He would have thought his mentor and previous Lead Alchemist Tevi Mon'hanoon, Tavius DonnasRoderick (deceased), Andrew Roderick (caged for madness), and Elsa Gillian (previous secretary of Tevi)
Likes- Due to his current ailment/difference, Jasper has found sunlight unsettlingly pleasing, as well as excessive amounts of water. Though despite his changes, he still finds himself admiring a fine glass of imported champagne. Others seem to be less important such as the clatter of rain on glass, tea, the feeling of smooth metal surfaces and glass, and the sound of wind rustling through trees.
Dislikes- Also due to Jasper's ailment the poor man has developed an almost irrational fear of fire. The sun is comforting in some prospect, though the idea of a ball of infinite flame distresses him greatly. Others dislike are listed accordingly: when library books aren't correctly alphabetized, the smell of ash, sandstone (feeling and/or appearance), the idea of aging, and chocolate.
Favorite;;
Food- Food, since the experiment, has become increasingly unimportant and unappetizing, especially vegetables (for some odd reason he feels guilty whenever he eats them and only consumes as good manners to a host). His main source of interest has been water… and how its flavor can be alter ever so slightly with a dash of salt, bits of caramel… etc.
Personality- Never much of a socializer, Jasper acuteness to detail made him a bit of an awkward duckling growing up. Kind at heart, he is mostly disbondent of everything- a trait which is amplified due to his mutation. Once rather ordinary, though the side effects of his genetic mutation has caused Jasper an unusual sort of schizophrenia; he claims that plants talk to him, sadly, in a language he somehow understands yet has the hardest time interpreting. Due to a sheltered childhood and one lacking much of his parents, despite the privilege, Jasper is very self-conscious and prone to freezing up when given excessive amounts of attention. As pathetic as he may seem Jasper has developed a rather heated passion for environmentalism, mostly due to his ailment, and finds himself protecting that which he finds an awkward kinship towards.
Place- Standing atop a park bench exactly when the sun is perpendicular to the earth and most linear objects lack a shadow.
Thing to Do- Watch the process of cell multiplication as well as the manipulation of atoms and playing with the levels on a microscope.
Color- Maroon
Story- The Story of Prometheus
Other;;
Appearance- Jasper stands at about 5' 8" though years of self-conscious slouching gives the young man the appearance of only 5' 6". Prone to his usual overcoats of many colors- usually maroon, a bland grey vest, a messy white dress shirt (often stained with a bit wine here and there) always unbuttoned at the collar, which the addiction of a unlaced tie that seems to flap about his chest. Torso down Jasper takes a liking to jet black slacks with white lines down them along with black and white tuxedo shoes. As for the details of his face, Jasper's face has a rather grecian structure to it- with a broad jawline and slightly concave cheeks. His nose stands as a monument of definition, his bridge slenderly extending until a slash shaped chunk adds a divot to its otherwise flawless appearance (due to a fall during his childhood years) where as the pinnacle of his nose extends to widen his mildly open nostrils. His lips have a bit of an overbite, giving the illusion that his lips are both always pursed and that his upper lip is larger than his bottom. Inheriting the darker skin of his parents, Jasper's skin holds a golden tone. Now due to Jasper's ailment his face set altered from its previous fairness and into how he got his nickname. Extending beneath his skin is a network of roots extending from his left ear and spreading to his left eye- one unfortunate strand occasionally peeps out from beneath Jasper's eyelid. Due to the disruption of his left eyeball red blood veins extend out of irritation, as well as a few jutting veins in his arms and wrists. Along his back happen to be a number of ivy vines that seem to have grown from Jasper's very pores and hang, occasionally dipping out of his dress shirt and/or overcoat. Jasper's hair is set into a permanent state of bed head and a deep raven color, further exhuming his presence of disorientation and botch. And to top off the whole shindig, Jasper's irises are rather light for his complexion- both having the color of light green grass.
Picture- Perhaps later…
History- Born into a life of privilege as a count's son, Jasper grew up slowly but surely hating material possessions. Basically parentless, the boy had an army of nurses to make up for his mother and father's absence. This distressed him at a young age, and instead of expressing outward hatred and outrageous behavior- Jasper became a recluse. His friends were plants, cats, dogs, the like of which happened to not be human, and the day he came to the decision of becoming a scientist was the day he witnessed the unfortunate disembowelment of his early dog Conwell after he had gotten into a tussle with a small group of coyotes. After the frightful event, Jasper approached his dog not with fear or sadness, but with curiosity… and that night he spent the majority of it picking out organs and quietly observing them. From then on his pursuits were completely independent, he studied by himself, sang by himself, learned biology and the like mostly on whim and soon was introduced to alchemy. From there on a good few years of extreme study under a reputed man, Tevi Mon'Hanoon, until Jasper blindly volunteered for Tevi's new set experiment on human subjects… a private study- only trying to please his "father figure" and trusting his judgment. One can guess what happened from there, a frightful success and a very confused subject. Tevi's madness was kept quite tame through his professional career, though once at that moment of raw success the elderly man flew in a stupor of obsession. Soon one test subject became two, than three, and despite one success failures began to sprout. Jasper watched as the man he came to admire and see as a father figure transform into a monster almost worst than his actual father, killing off apprentice after apprentice. Days went on and Tevi was soon arrested under charges of man-slaughter. And from that day, Jasper detached himself completely from the idea of science with hope of purging those terrible memories, explaining his half-hearted attempt at clothe making.
Other- He twitches his eyebrows when he thinks.
