Powers
K:anode bears the ability to manipulate energy.
Upon touching a source of energy (He controls electrical sources best, then such ones as telepathy and the most difficult to control is atmospheric energy/mood.) However, being passive, he rarely makes any real use of it. However, it can be used to shock/stun people. The power is quite raw and not very refined. Blunt.
-This ability can be used to locate other people in a world. Bit like Radar, it picks up solid objects and he guesses what they are.
The reason, demons often do have some strange powers (maybe not in this world though?) He developed his in this way to avoid conflict and for self defense. He could (and probably will with time) develop them into attacks.
His more important ability is to create a dream world.
People can be pulled into it, more or less by his will. If they resist enough they won't be though. In this world time passes more slowly, it can be manipulated completely and demons can pass through it. It can become a gate way between worlds.

Appearance- 5ft2". Short. Messy hair. These annoy him. No matter how hard he tries, that wretched hair just won't lie flat or look "cool". Artificially red hair, though it's natural.
He usually wears blacks and whites, often loose or baggy clothing. [Might fix to suit time better]
Pink-Purple eyes with a certain wild feel to them, though it sharply contrasts to his passive personality. Pale skinned as he lived in a smoky city and didn't go out much anyway.

Personality- Usually calm and good natured, he's rather friendly to most people. Depending on the circumstances, this may just be an act.
When stressed, under pressure or worried, his eyes tend to twitch or dart about the space he's in. If he can't let himself calm down, his body might twitch also.
To calm down, he takes a breath, makes one decision and moves to a quiet place to think the rest through. If this isn't possible, he may snap and yell, but feels guilty afterwards when he does.
He's quite fearful that he might have some strange demonic powers that'll be let loose on the innocent....
He usually avoids conflict with others, hoping to evade them and the problem -even moving countries in order to do so.
This avoidance also comes with his usually pleasant attitude -though not to mistaken for an optimistic view point of life as a whole. Though he tries to make the best of things in the short run, when he's finished yet another little goal or job, he can become nearly depressed.
He usually tries to find things to occupy his mind though.
In short: He's avoiding his problems.
History- K:anode grew up with his mother and moved out when he was 16.
From the start he was a little strange, being half demon. He doesn't and never really did know his father, he'd not even sure if they ever met. Never asked for photos and his mother never pointed one out. She never really spoke about the first year or two of his life.
Regardless, he went to a public school. Which didn't go so well. He just became the misfit who couldn't communicate well with anyone and just seemed weird. He moved to high school a little early and left at 16. He didn't feel like continuing on to college. He'd just have to continue falling to fit in.
At around 15 he started to take up little investigation jobs around the city Ost. These began to get deeper and deeper into the truth of the city. This lead to several attacks on him and eventually his (and his mother's) home. Following this he decided he would leave rather then face those conflicts and to keep his mother from danger.
Ironically it's just as likely that she was then kidnapped and such and his absence simply meant he couldn't protect her.. but anyway.
he moved on to Ess. As much opposite to Ost as he can. Probably will cause trouble, after all, he still has a lot of underground information on his former home....

Cresant-shaped key chain charm.
This item seems like no big deal, but it acts as a little barrier to keep him hidden from anyone who might hunt demons of any sort.
Strengths:
Organized, cool, calm and generally collected, he can make a rather good leader. When things get out of control he tends to lean off out of fights and tries to find a peaceful solution though.
Usually alert, K:anode usually notices little details about places that barley even seem to matter, but can use them to his advantage later.
He's not the sort to give up easily. Though he can get a little swept away with hopelessness, if anyone is meant to rely on him, even a little, he won't let them down.
Weaknesses:
He hates fighting, not just because he doesn't like it, but because he sucks at it. He's physically quite weak, and while he can dodge well and is agile, he relies on wit and luck to survive fights. [may be changed.]
Though he usually keeps himself in control, he'd very likely to snap in pressured situations and loose the ability to think straight.
He bears a strong hatred for water. He can't swim and makes no attempt to learn how to. In every day life, he's rather okay with it. However, if submerged in it, he feels sharp pain.
He may have more abilities, but he doesn't know them yet. He suspects he has some powers he hasn't tapped into yet (being half demon and all) and fears them quite so. Again, all part of the "avoid all conflict" mindset.
