Hmmm.. Clock turned to look at K:anode. "If you know where this place is, we should probably have a look." He wasn't exactly up to sneaking into yet another place today, but he needed to figure out what was happening to the workers. He already had a hunch, but he needed to know more before he was sure. He lowered his voice and leaned closer to K:anode, not wanting anyone around here to hear him. "If you ask me, they're just trying to prove they're capable of the same feats as Ost. Different methods of course, but with a similar result." He scowled, and took a look around at the towering smokestacks of the factories. "And if that's the case, there's bound to be successful experiment around here somewhere."

[don't worry about it at all! Where I usually hang out most posts are around that length or shorter. Usually shorter. much[\b ]shorter.]

"Yeah, I guess."K:anode replied, though really he just wanted to get home and out of these clothes. Even throwing himself into the flithy waters of Ess seemed like a good idea... despite his bad reaction with the substance. It'd be worth it, the thought of blood rotting on his clothes was making him sick. Looking at the taller man, he was guessing he didn't want to be there just yet either.. and anyway, the meeting wouldn't start for a good few more hours. No hurry.

"Of course. The two are always competing."He replied, some spite in his voice. Competing on who could malform their fellow humans the most. Not that they treated their test subjects in any human, never mind equal. "So are you hoping to find an experiment around here?" He looked about, as if one would simply walk in front of them. He was sure there would be some to find, probably the less successful ones, though the amount of grime was a good disguise.

Clock let out a small sigh, all the action of the day catching up with him. He rarely spent so much time around people, and running around this hell hole wasn't doing wonders for his stress levels. Thinking about it only made him feel more tired, the energy slowly sapping from his body. He had been aware that he could only keep this up for so long before loosing control over his body, and he wasn't sure how much more ho could do in one day.

K:anode's question about the experiments forced him to focus on the matters at hand. He shook his head "They're probably being kept somewhere. Probably with the people in charge of this whole setup." He swung his head around to gaze into the heart of the city, frown set on his face. "I don't think we'll be getting into any fancy dinner parties celebrating their success dressed like this though." He gestured to his suit that was now caked in dry blood and factory filth. Maybe it would be best to spend some time going over things, and well, getting changed.

K:anode smirked a tad. It was true. He wasn't looking much better himself. The idea of getting into some fresh clothes had never seemed so appealing.
"So should we get out of here, figure this out and change?"He asked, though he was already moving towards the suburbs. They weren't too far from the more residential areas, where it was just as grimy, but at least the factory smog wasn't so bad. Instead there was house-fire smoke and the stench of sweat and damp from the over crowded houses.

"Will a forgery do to get us into the meeting later?"He asked after a moment. Obviously they had no invitation*, but K:anode was confident in his ability to forge an invitation. If necessary you could usually bribe the doormen to these places anyway (though he didn't have much capital on himself...) and failing that, beating them senseless could also be an option.


[*They might have taken Leo's, but maybe the people would regonize Leo and know better? If you'd rather go for the 'we have leo's' route, I don't think it'd make much difference anyway...?]
